Meet Eric

As a proud resident of Edgewater for over 20 years, I’ve enjoyed riding my motorcycle down Riverside Drive, fishing in the intracoastal, and spending evenings singing karaoke with my wife. But what I cherish most is gathering with friends and family to enjoy the beautiful Florida lifestyle. I believe in preserving what makes our city special while ensuring a better future for all who call it home.
Family comes first for me. I have a loving wife, Michelle, three children, and two granddaughters. My son, Connor, and his wife, Stephanie, are raising their family here, while my daughter, Madison, visits often. My late daughter, Morgan, was a talented NSBHS showdoll, known for her grace and dedication. She brought joy to everyone who knew her, and her spirit remains a cherished part of our lives. Family is the heart of everything I do, and I am grateful for the love and memories we share.

I’ve served in leadership roles with the Sons of the American Legion Post 285, Sons of AMVETS Post 2, and as a Life Member of VFW Post 4250, always supporting our military and the freedoms their service provides.
In Florida, I’ve driven a concrete truck, built boats at Boston Whaler and Everglades Boats, DJed at clubs from Edgewater to Daytona, including Bike Week at Gilly’s and the No Name Saloon, and ran a teen rec center called KOOK. Since 2016, I’ve worked in IT Technical Services, applying my problem-solving and technical skills.
I first got involved in city government when I was appointed to the Charter Review Committee, where I helped reshape the charter to better serve our growing city. Soon after, I joined the Edgewater Planning and Zoning Board, often standing as the lone "no" vote on major projects due to flooding and elevation concerns.

I love Edgewater, and I’m here to stay. I’m one of you—sharing in the challenges you face—and I'm committed to working for YOU to make this community an even better, safer, and DRYER place to call home.
